Television has long been called out and criticized for its potential to cause harm to children. Media exposure can have an impact on a child's cognitive development and academic achievement, both positively and negatively.
We must exercise the parental influence and discipline that God intended for us. We should keep track of how much time our children spend watching TV and what programs they are watching. We must investigate credible broadcast outlets to ensure that the quality and content of television programs are well-designed, age-appropriate, and centered on an educational curriculum.
