God is the one and only Ultimate

and necessary Being.

It is imperative to understand that mankind, on

our own, are incapable of truly knowing God because

of our sinfulness. We will perish and suffer spiritual death

eternally, without God.

Nothing is of greater importance than receiving

God into our lives, seeking to understand God's truths,

and embarking upon a special, deep, personal, and

eternal relationship with God.

We carry the responsibility to live out our faith in

God. Not only must we read and understand God’s

Word, we must apply it, and faithfully run with

patience the race that is set before us, looking to God,

the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Hebrews 12:1-3

Jesus Himself placed the greatest importance on...

Loving God with all our heart, with all our soul,

with all our mind and with all our strength.

God's pure and infinite love is

within each of us.

God gives pure love, life, breath, and spirit to

everyone. All of creation depends on God.

God pervades and sustains the universe; yet,

He has intimate knowledge of our soul,

emotions, and thoughts.

One of God's primary

attributes is love.

God's character is the very

personification of love.

God is love.

God's love is very different from the

natural man's love.

God's love permeates His essence

in all He is and all He does.

 Everything God has ever done

has been out of love.

Love starts with God and ends with God because God is love.

God loved us enough to die for us.

God’s love for us Is personal.

God is compassionate and loving.

God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son

into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him.

God’s love should not stop with Him loving us, it should overflow into

the lives of the people around us.

God’s love grows in us.

God freely offers His love to us.
God's love changes lives.
God's love is everything beautiful.

God loves us as we are, but He also loves us enough to not let us stay

how we are.

God wants to see us grow and change for the better.

God’s love helps us grow and improve.

God’s love is too great to fully understand.

God’s love surrounds ua and keeps us safe.

God will not let us down because His love cannot fail.

We do not deserve God’s love. No one does. But He loves us anyway.

God wants us to be filled with His love.

God loves us and disciplines us to help us learn. He wants to teach us

valuable lessons.

God cares about our sadness and hardships.

He is always there to comfort us with His unfailing love.

God's faithful love never ends.

God's love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear.

God is the only One Who can love us perfectly.

Nothing can separate us from God’s love.

God's love is Infinite and unfailing.

God loves us regardless of our station in life.

Each new day is another opportunity to receive God's grace, mercy and

love.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Ephesians 4:32

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

1 Timothy 6:6-7

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.

James 4:16

As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.

Philippians 2:3

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.

“Love the Lord your God with all of your heart,

all your soul, all your strength, and all of your mind…”

Luke 10:37

Thinking rightly about God is of absolute importance

because a bogus idea about God is idolatry. The

idolatrous heart assumes and concludes that God is

other than Who He is.

To fall in love with God means,

replacing idols and misplaced

affections with God.

We are to love God above all else.

God's love is better than the

best this life can ever be.

We know that God will never

leave us, fail or abandon us.

Even at our weakest, darkest and worst...

we can find God.

God will not abandon His people.

Our Father is the only true God of Scripture,

and God has no equals. God has no contenders.

God is matchless. There is no one like God. No

one can compare to God...God never changes.

God knows no limitations. God is not limited to the

dimensional restrictions of created things. God

is absolutely unrestricted to time and place.

In Genesis, God reveals Himself as our great

Creator. He unveils His perfect judgment and

mighty works. His unlimited power and eternal

knowledge are shown as God leads and blesses.

Psalm 90:2 says, “From forever in the past

to forever in the future, You are God.”

Great is the Lord, and highly to be

praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.

Psalm 145:3

There is none like You, O Lord; You are

great, and great is Your Name in might.

Jeremiah 10:6

The Scriptures are overflowing with

statements about

God's greatness!

God alone is the Most High over all the earth.

There is no one higher than God.

Psalm 83:18

God is the All-Powerful Creator of the universe

The almighty and ever-present power of God created,

sustains, and governs all of creation. God is our only

Source of comfort, truth, power and the fulfillment

of the longings of the heart.

God is God... the King of all ages, the only God, and

there is none greater.

The greatness of God and the mind of God

is beyond our capacity to understand or

explain exhaustively.

God's majesty, supreme perfection, and splendor

far exceeds anything we can comprehend. The

power, magnificence, and invisible essence of

God is Infinitely above anything and everything

we can attempt to discern or express.

God is unsearchable and

unfathomable.

God possesses unknowable attributes beyond

human understanding. God's invisible attributes,

His eternal power and divine nature is beyond

human logic, reason, imagination and

comprehension.

The essence of God is Supernatural,

 and incomprehensible to the human

mind, for the finite understanding cannot

be applied to God's infinite mystery.

God encompasses all:

God cannot be encompassed.

Yes, we are limited in our understanding of God.

God is the One and only; the Eternal and Absolute.

All that God is and all that God does is

beyond our finite knowledge. The finite reach

of our human mind will never comprehend the

infinite nature of God. God's greatness is beyond

anything our limited faculties are qualified of

defining or fathoming.

We can never fully comprehend God's whole

being because God is, by nature, Holy,

which means,

 set apart.

God has many characteristics and attributes

which distinguishes Himself from His creation.

The very nature of God is that He is eternal

and infinite. God existed before time existed.

Based on God's nature and attributes, God's

greatness is in a different category from all of

His creation.

Unlike God's creation God is not bound by

the laws of time, space, or matter. Instead

God is actually the Creator of time, space

and matter. This, in and of itself puts God

in a category of His own.

Genesis 1:1 says:

In the beginning, God created the heavens

and the earth. The earth was without form

and void, and darkness was over the face

of the deep. And the Spirit of God was

hovering over the face of the waters.

And God said,

“Let there be light,” and there was light.

We read in Genesis, the first book of the

Bible, that God created everything... light,

earth, water, air, plants, animals, and humans.

God created the entire world out of nothing

and everything that God created, God called

“good.”

On the last day of creation; God created man

and woman. In the beginning, everyone and

everything was created good. All of it was

created to reflect the glory of God. This has

not changed. All of creation is still meant to

reflect God’s glory.

There are some important facts we can learn

from Genesis 1:1-3 which are the following:

This passage reveals that God existed before

anything was ever created.

The Scriptures also reveals that time, space

and matter began with God. In this passage,

time is represented by the words

“In the beginning”, then space is

“The heavens” and matter is “The earth”.

Who else, but God would have the ability to

operate and create outside the boundaries or

parameters of time, space and matter?

God already existed prior to creation of time,

space and matter. Genesis 1:4-31, also reveals

that God is the Source of all things as He spoke

everything into existence. So everything we

observe in life and the universe has a beginning

 because everything began with God.

God is the entirety of the universe. God is

reality itself. Everything in creation is subject

to natural or physical laws of which God is

the Source of those laws.

God, the Creator of everything that exists, is both

gloriously incomprehensible and Knowable.

The nature of God is so vast and complex

that no human being can fully know everything

there is to know about God. But life is about

continually seeking God, learning more about

 God, and enjoying His fellowship.

You will seek Me and find Me when you

seek Me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13

What is more, I consider everything a loss

because of the surpassing worth of knowing

Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have

lost all things. I consider them garbage, that

I may gain Christ.

Philippians 3:8

God declares:

“Let not the wise boast in their wisdom

or the strong boast in their strength or the rich

boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts

boast about this: that they have the understanding

to know Me, that I am God, Who exercises

kindness, justice, and righteousness on earth.

For in these things I delight."

Jeremiah 9:23-24

Simply knowing and having an intellectual

understanding about God is theoretical

knowledge of a theological sort or speculative

thought concerning God. This is not adequate

for life with God. Human beliefs often limit

and misinterpret God's character.

Intellect is an amazing gift from God, but it can

become damaged by sinfulness. One can quickly

become puffed up and have an exalted feeling

because they have an intellectual understanding

of the gospel, yet, in spiritual things, they are

unaware of their shallowness of Who God is

and knowing God, personally. Many are

relationally distant from God. They have not

gotten to the place where God wants them to

be. There is no spiritual oneness.

We cheat ourselves if we communicate with

God only on a surface level. The real blessing

is growing to know God intimately, more

deeply. We awaken from a state of Spiritual

death. We come alive to God by willingly

surrendering ourselves to God, in grateful

love. We decrease so that God may increase.

This opens the floodgates so that we may

enjoy the blessings of God's faithful love,

justice, and righteousness.

To come alive to God means... Being

interested in God, to know Who God is,

to believe in God, to be close and have

experiential knowledge of God.

To be intimately aware of God is a blessing.

We can be vulnerable with God. We become

empowered by listening to God, truthfully

talking to God, intentionally and willingly

spending quality time uniting in close

communion with God, getting to know what

God desires of us, obeying, praying, serving,

praising and witnessing. This means prioritizing

our relationship with God... as the most important

factor in our life.

Experiencing Almighty God, personally,

enriches our lives greatly. Our understanding

can be purified, transformed, and humbled.

Ultimately, it is to our benefit, when we can have

a new perspective on ourselves and God's

masterful plan.

To know God is to be troubled by sin. To know

God is to have God's provision, protection,

comfort, faithful guidance, and Power of His

Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

The most fundamental thing to a believer

is a living and vital relationship with God.

When we know God personally... we

automatically seek Him, and we know that

intimacy with God has no contenders.

We truly desire fellowship with God. Some

things with God are so personal, they can

only be felt with the heart. No one else

would ever understand.

A personal relationship with God is the

most loving, faithfully honest, righteous,

caring relationship we could ever hope for.

God is our daily Bread.

God is a perfect Friend.

When we encounter God,

we encounter grace and mercy.

When one only has intellectual understanding

of facts about God, Jesus, and the Bible without

realizing their need for God.. knowing God

could seem like an obscure pursuit. This leaves

the intellectual unfulfilled... realizing emptiness

 and inescapable voids.

To know God is more than knowing about

Him, committing Bible verses to memory and

attending church. To know God is to allow

our facts about God to become our personal

reality. One can hold knowledge in their heads,

but God's truth needs to penetrate the heart.

To know God is to enter into a relationship. It's

hard to love someone you don't know.

Our society believes the most important

question to answer is:

Who are we?

The question is not: Who am I?

The question is:

Who is God?

Knowing Who God is can change our perspective.

Once we find out who God is, then we can

understand who we are.

Who is God?

This is a question many have asked throughout

history and across cultures.

It is paramount to understand

 who and Whose we are.

In these uncertain times, there is no better time

to examine why God is worthy of our praise.

God is unlike anything or anyone we could ever

know or imagine. God is one of a kind, unique and

without comparison.

Even describing God with mere words truly falls

short of capturing Who God is. Our words simply

cannot do justice to describour holy God.

God desires that we come to know Him intimately...

surrendering ourselves, obeying what God has

commanded, fellowshipping with God, and

communicating with God in total love, gratefulness,

and transparency.

In keeping with Scripture, God is interested in

humanity and has a purpose that applies to all

humanity.

We believe it is impossible for the finite to

adequately and completely define God... because

Almighty God is Infinite Spirit... not restricted by

 time or space.

The treasury of Scripture teaches that we can

have an honest and personal knowledge of God,

but this does not mean we will ever completely

figure God out.

Our human knowledge of God cannot encompass

the infinite dimensions of His greatness.

Psalm 145:3

In order to understand God's love, power,

knowledge, and other attributes, we are

constrained to use the same words we use

with regard to human beings.

While we can comprehend some attributes

of God, God's nature is incomprehensible to

our limited minds. We are incapable of grasping

the Infinite.

God transcends the bounds of time and space.

God can never be fully known.

God's greatness is unsearchable.

It has been said,

"In our limitedness, grasping

the nature of our limit-less God

is like holding onto water as it

rages down a river."

God will remain God always to our human

understanding, but He reveals Himself in so many

ways to those who believe in Him that no matter

how limited we are in our knowledge... we can

still have an understanding about Him.

No human mind can fully understand God, but to

those who are open to enter into His mystery

He will reveal Himself enough to give us the

certitude conviction that He is real.

God will always be an inexplicable mystery

to our finite and limited understanding.

The Scriptures are clear and certain that

God is the only Supreme, Infinite, eternally

self-aware Being, and God is ultimately...

 incomprehensible to us.

God can never be fully explained,

but we can certainly

experience God.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways My ways,”

declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher

than the earth, so are My ways higher than

your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

The Word of God Is Living and Active.

The Word is a mysterious and powerful force.

It refers to the will of God (Galatians 1:4),

the truth of God (John 17:17)

The Word is eternal.

The study of God’s Word is

paramount to knowing God

better.

Hebrews 4:12 reminds us,

“For the Word of God is alive and active.

Sharper than any double-edged sword,

it penetrates even to dividing soul and

spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the

thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

Prayer is also an important part of knowing

God better. As we pray, we praise God for

His character and for what He has done.

We spend time with God, relying on His

power and allowing the Spirit to intercede

for us through groanings that cannot be

expressed in words.

Romans 8:26

Also consider that one can get to know God

better by fellowshipping with other believers

 who are walking with God.

Those who are diligently seeking, in faith, to

learn more about God will find Him.

Proverbs 8:17

Joy is found in giving God the keys to our heart.

Sitting in God's presence revives our soul, gives

light to our understanding, and overflows our

hearts with joy, unspeakable.

It's been said that if we read the Word of God

with faith, then it begins to read us. Nothing

is hidden from God.

While we can comprehend some attributes

of God, God possesses unknowable attributes

beyond human understanding... His infinite

nature is incomprehensible for our limited

finite minds.

God has provided us with a fuller understanding

of His character through His God-breathed

revelation to us... His Word.

God has a way of revealing Himself also

through nature. Nature has a way of telling us

 how great our God is.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies

proclaim the work of His hands."

Psalm 19:1.

What we do know about God, we primarily know

through the Bible. God identifies Himself as the

God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Old

Testament (Exodus 3:15; Acts 7:32). He also

describes himself as,

“I am.”

The whole Bible "is the story of God's involvement

with His creation", but highlights verses such as

Acts 17:28,

For in Him we live and move and have our being.

’ As some poets have said, ‘We are God's offspring.’

The Bible is God's communication to us. It was

inspired by God Himself. It speaks of God Who has

been changing and guiding people's lives for thousands

of years. Scripture speaks of things beyond our seeing.

God shows His nature and character, His love, His

justice, forgiveness, truth and faithfulness to us as

He walks with us through His Word.

God's Word is God's revelation

of Himself.

God's Word helps us to know God more deeply

and intimately. Within the covers of God's Word

we can discover instructions, guidance,

solutions and answers to the most profound

questions and perplexing problems we could

ever have.

The Scriptures help us to know God, spend

time with God, hear from God, pursue God's

work and God's ways.

To know God is to know Light, Life, and

Love in all its fullness and glory.

God's Word is the most relevant Source that

answers the call and speaks of things beyond

our hearing. The best way to know the Father

is to read about Him. God's Word gives us

the Master Key to knowing God.

Among the first in those revelations describes

for us...

Who God is.

God is spirit.

First, Jesus says,

“God is spirit, and those who worship Him

must worship in Spirit and Truth.”

John 4:24

Holy reflects God's eternal nature.

Holy and Divine reflects Who God is.

We must have Spiritual eyes to "See"

God, yet we as human beings have difficulty

attempting to fit an infinite concept into our

finite minds.

In accordance with Scripture, God does not

seek to be worshipped in a physical temple or

through rituals and rules, but in Spirit.

The things of God are spiritually discerned,

i.e., spoken by God Who is Spirit to the spirit

within us.

That is what the Scriptures mean when

 they say,

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,

and no mind has imagined what God has

prepared for those who love Him.”

The Spirit searches all things, even the

deep things of God. For who knows a

person’s thoughts except their own spirit

within them? In the same way no one

knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit

of God.

What we have received is not the spirit of the

world, but the Spirit who is from God, so

that we may understand what God has freely

given us. This is what we speak, not in words

taught us by human wisdom but in words taught

by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with

Spirit-taught words.

The person without the Spirit does not accept

the things that come from the Spirit of God but

considers them foolishness, and cannot understand

them because they are discerned only through the

Spirit.

The person with the Spirit makes judgments

about all things, but such a person is not

subject to merely human judgments.

“Who has known the mind of God?

Who knows enough to teach Him?”

1Corinthians 2:9-16.

More of God's attributes

All Mighty, Supreme and Infinite in power,

Absolute, unlimited, present everywhere at the

same time, and the Most High.

God is boundless, unparalleled, incomparable,

matchless, unequalled, unrivaled, Excellence,

the Greatest.

God is Divine Nature.

God is the Ultimate Authority over man and

all creation. God alone is worthy of our worship.

God is the entirety of the universe.

God is the Creator, Sustainer and Ruler of the

universe and all things in it.

By God all things were created, in heaven

and on earth, visible and invisible.

God is perfect in all His ways in eternity

 past, present, and future.

Holy reflects God's eternal nature.

Holy and Divine reflects Who God is.

The Bible contains around 170 instances where

God is referred to as the Father. Fathers are

traditionally the protectors of the family, and

 historically the bread-winners. God is

proclaiming Himself as our Protector and

Supplier.

It is clear in the Bible that God chose

masculine pronouns and responsibilities to

reveal Himself to us. By using the male titles,

God made it easier for us to understand Him.

According to our research, the term "Man"

is used to refer to the whole of humankind...

both men and women. Men and women are

only patterned after the image of God-not

identical replicas. This fact does not require

God to have a body like a man or a woman.

Being made in the image of God has

nothing to do with physical characteristics.

God is never described with sexual

characteristics in the Scriptures, but He does

consistently describe Himself in the masculine

gender. This is in no way meant to minimize

women.

While God contains all the qualities of both

male and female genders, He has chosen to

present Himself with an emphasis on masculine

qualities of fatherhood, protection, direction,

strength, etc. Metaphors used to describe Him

in the Bible include: King, Father, Judge,

Husband, Master, and the God and Father

of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

C. S. Lewis, has suggested that gender is far

deeper than our human distinctions reveal.

He suggests that God is so masculine that

we all are feminine in relation to Him.

Even though the term "Him" is frequently

used when speaking about or referring to God...

God is Spirit. God is also a living, personal being

Whom we can know personally and walk in

personal fellowship with.

God chose us to be sons and daughters before

the foundation of the world. God's extreme pleasure

and supreme delight is for us to experience, as a

reality in our lives, His Fatherhood.

The love of God, the Father, is not only to be felt,

but heard as well. God speaks. God spoke the world

into existence. God’s voice formed and shaped

creation. That same voice can form and shape

our souls.

As we spend time alone in God's presence, let us

worship God with open and sincere hearts...

allowing the peace of God to rule in our minds and

hearts. May we submit all we are to God, and may

God's stillness refresh our souls.

The Bible says that God is the uncontained One.

God cannot be contained within the universe.

1 Kings 8:27

God is limitless in power and ability and is not

confined, defined or limited to the parameters of

our imagination.

God is beyond limitations. God is limitless

in every quality He possesses. We cannot

confine God or put God in a box. God is

boundless.

The Bible says that God is the uncontained One.

God cannot be contained within the universe.

1 Kings 8:27

The highest heavens cannot contain God.

God is endless, boundless, immeasurable,

universally vast, immense, forever, and

Omnipresent. We can never be out of the

sight of God.

The fact that no one place can be said to contain

God should help us to better understand that

there is no one special place that gives people

special access to God.

God cannot be contained.

Nothing can contain or restrain God. God is so

unlimited in power that time and space cannot

bind Him or define Him.

God is endless, boundless, immeasurable,

universally vast, immense, forever, and

Omnipresent.

"With God, all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26

In God's infinite wisdom, He has chosen to

be God of compassion, mercy and love. God

has willed Himself not to do things that are not

in accordance with His nature or contrary to

His Word.

It is because God either has not, cannot, will not

do these things, that we can do all things

 through Christ.

So, for our own edification let us examine

a few of the many restrictions God has

imposed upon Himself.

We would do well to observe and

 emulate them.

God cannot cease to exist.

God always was, always is, and

always will be.

God cannot be second.“Thou shalt have no other gods before

Me.” Exodus 20:3

No one is holy like the Lord, For there is none other than You,

nor is there any rock like our God.” 1 Samuel 2:2

God cannot be contained.  The heavens and earth cannot contain

God. Some may try to explain God with plausible reasons. They are

limiting the magnificence and greatness of God to their limited

understanding. Job 11:7-9 reminds us "God is beyond our understanding!

The number of His years is past finding out."God is Infinite, God is

immeasurably great, limitless, exceedingly awesomeGod has no

boundaries in time or space. "Bless the Lord your God from everlasting

to everlasting." Nehemiah 9:5

God cannot go unnoticed“The heavens declare the glory of God;

and the firmaments hows His handy-work.”  Psalm 19:1

God cannot be worshipped too much for Who and What

He is. We breathe by God's grace. When we consider Who Almighty God

is... God's greatness, power and holiness... one cannot help but humbly bow

before God and worship Him. God is worthy of such praise. “… Holy, holy,

holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”

Revelation 4:8  Far too many worshipers are equating sincere worship

with creating an emotional experience... the pursuit of a feeling.

It is not in God’s nature to deceive anyone.

God cannot become a false god - God does not need to become

like anyone. False gods might try to imitate God; however, God is God.

God says “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none

like Me. A false god is worthless, a work of delusion. Jeremiah 10:14-15

God cannot be mocked. God cannot be ridiculed. He cannot feel

mocked because God is all knowing and all sufficient and He lacks

nothing. There is nothing that anyone can say about God that will make

God feel mocked or inadequate. "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;

for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Galatians 6-7

God cannot be deceived. Nobody can deceive God, because God

is all knowing, omniscient and almighty. He is the Alpha and the Omega,

the Beginning and the End. "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's

sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to

whom we must give account." Hebrews 4:13

God’s intent and power cannot be stopped. - God will

accomplish His purpose’ God is absolutely committed and resolute

about His plan for man.

God cannot sin. It is not in God’s nature to sin, lie or perform any

kind of wickedness. God is holy, pure and sinless. God is not corrupt

nor can He be tempted to become corrupt or to sin. His thoughts, His

motives, His actions are always good and righteous and just. God is

righteous... sinless in all His ways, including in His nature.

God cannot increase or diminish in knowledge -

God is Omniscient (all knowing).  God fully knows Himself and all things

actual and possible. “God is fully aware of everything.” “He knows

all things at once.”

God’s Word cannot be broken. God's Word is pure and sure...

forever. John 10:35 “… the Scriptures cannot be broken.”

God cannot be silenced. “Heaven and earth shall pass away,

but My words shall not pass away.”  Matthew 24:35

“For I am the Lord, I do not change." Malachi 3:6

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8

God cannot be pleased without faith. “But without faith it is

impossible to please God; for he that comes to God must believe that He is,

and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:6

God cannot leave work unfinished.- God will complete the

good work He began, and He will be faithful to complete it. “Being

confident of this very thing, that He which begun a good work in  you

will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6

"God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, "

1Corinthians 14:33 God is not confused nor can anybody confuse God.

God’s word, the Bible does not contradict itself nor can

God behave in any way that is contradictory to His nature.

God does not have favorites. He loves us the same. Then Peter

opened his mouth and said: ”In truth I perceive that God shows no

partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness

is accepted by Him." Acts 10:34-35

God does not judge anybody unjustly or unfairly. God is

not unjust. - Hebrews 6:10

God cannot break a promise. I will not break my covenant; I will

not take back a single word I said. I will not violate my covenant or alter

the word that went forth from my lips. Psalm 89:34. God keeps His

promises. He will not break His covenant with us. Leviticus 26:44,

 Jeremiah 14:21.

God will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding

no one can fathom. Isaiah 40:28

God cannot get tired. “The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator

of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary…” – Isaiah 40:28

“He neither slumber nor sleep.” - Psalm 121:4

God cannot be divided.“I and My Father are One.” John 10:30

God cannot be destroyed. - God cannot be thwarted, deceived,

or overthrown.“Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy

dominion endureth throughout all generations.”  Psalm 145:13

God cannot be tempted with evil, and He Himself tempts

no one. James 1:13

God does not cause people to commit sinful acts

God is not the author of wickedness nor does He make

people commit wicked acts. Numbers 23:19.

"God is not a man, that He should lie."  God’s truthfulness

is shown and repeated throughout all of Scripture. If he could lie, then

He would cease to be a good God, since lying is not worthy of approval.

When it seems that God isn’t trustworthy or truthful, it’s not God who

lies, but those of us who misunderstand.

God cannot deny Himself. If we are faithless, God remains

faithful. 2 Timothy 2:13

God cannot be imperfect.“Be ye therefore perfect, even as

your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48

God cannot be defeated. God has never lost a battle. No one

can match God’s power and might. There is nobody like God, and

therefore He has no equal. God is triumphant, and it is not in His

nature to lose. "Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His

understanding is infinite." Psalm 147:5

God cannot contradict Himself. God cannot change His

mind when it comes to issues that are consistent with His very nature

and His word.

God cannot change" I am the Lord. I do not change." - “For I

am the Lord, I change not Malachi 3:6

God cannot be selfish. “He that spareth not His own Son, but

delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give

 us all things?” Romans 8:32

Cannot leave nor forsake. “I will never leave you, nor forsake

 you." Hebrews 13:5

God cannot forget us. “Can a woman forget her suckling child,

that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea,

they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” Isaiah 49:15  Knowing

the nature of God is very important. God will not ignore us if we call

to Him, and if we have a genuine desire to know Him and have a

relationship with Him.

2 Timothy 1:7 - "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but

of power and of love and of a sound mind."

God cannot make losers.“Now thanks be unto God, which

always causes us to triumph in Christ.- 2 Corinthians 2:14

God cannot despise a broken and contrite heart. "A

broken and contrite heart, O God thou wilt not despise.” Psalm 51:17

No matter what we have done, we can return to God through repentance

and His saving grace.

God cannot hate us. God cannot hate His creation. When He

made all that He created in Genesis, God saw that what He had made

was good. God loves us even when we are at our very worst. This is

why He sent His begotten Son Jesus to die for us. Romans 5:8

eminds us,"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that

while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

"God is Love." 1 John 4:7

God’s church cannot be destroyed. “And I say also unto

thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this Rock I will build My church; and

the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” Matthew 16:18

Because God is all powerful (omnipotent) and

all knowing (omniscient), He is also able to be

present at all places at all times (omnipresent).

God is Complete, Divine, Mighty, Faultless,

Majestic, Holy, Glorious in His perfections, in

control, Awesome in glory, Sovereign, and rich

in mercy. God is Faithful, Infinite, Self-existent,

 Supreme, Righteous, Compassionate, Just,

Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscient,

Transcendent, and Immanent.

God is exceedingly and abundantly awe-inspiring.

God is beyond compare. God is Supreme

perfection, Sustainer and Ruler of the universe

and all things in it.

Everything that God does is intentional, and

nothing He does is contrary to His perfect being.

God is perfect in all His ways in

eternity past, present, and future.

God is completely good and completely sovereign.

God is Supreme in power and authority. There is

absolutely nothing that happens in the universe

that is outside of God's influence, authority,

and/or control.

God's power over creation

is absolute.

God controls matter, energy, space, and time at

will. God is all powerful and all knowing. God

has knowledge of all things that are possible to

be known and able to accomplish any possible

task He wills to do.

According to Scripture, God has no beginning, nor

will God cease to exist. God's greatness, power, grace,

holiness, thoughts, ways, justice, wisdom, and God's past,

present, and future judgments are perfect and beyond our

perception.

God is the Ultimate Authority over

man and all creation, and God alone

is worthy of our worship.

May we keep our minds attention

 and our hearts affection

centered on...

God and God alone.

Many passages of Scripture affirm God as Eternal. For

example, Psalm 90:2 notes, "Before the mountains

were born or You brought forth the whole world,

from everlasting to everlasting

You are God."

Deuteronomy 33:27 refers to -

the Lord as the "Eternal God."

Romans 1:20 speaks of God's -

"Eternal power and

Divine nature."

Ephesians 3:11 speaks of God's -

"Eternal purpose."

1Timothy 6:16 notes God's -

"Eternal dominion" or rule.

We are all dying creatures, and all of our earthly

pleasures are passing comforts, but God is

immortal and lives in unapproachable light

Whom no one has seen or can see.

Isaiah 9:6 refers to God as an

"Everlasting Father."

Isaiah 26:4 calls Him an

"Everlasting Rock."

The Lord Himself is...

the Rock eternal.

God has all the answers.

God's wisdom is infinite and will never be

exhausted. God is the answer to any and

all challenges or troubles we could ever have.

When God speaks...

 it shall be done.

The fear of God is an awe and

reverence of God. It is joined

with love, trust, a desire to

serve and worship God, Who

is holy, just and almighty.

A Reverent Fear of God, is

 the foundation of wisdom.

It is the wisdom that

withdraws, escapes,

abandons and flees from

evil. Wisdom avoids evil or

anything that lures us to do

evil or wickedness.

A "reverential fear" of God brings us to

intimate acquaintance with God. It is a

response to God's greatness, God's power,

God'holiness and God's mercy. We desire

to live in harmony with God and honor

God in all that we do.

A reverential fear of God is foundational to a

life lived in the absoluteness of God's blessings.

It is a life that brings our hearts deep fulfillment.

It teaches us how to communicate with God

rightly... by true worship and submissiveness,

and how to come to live with God for ever.

Reverential fear” of God, is not a mere‘fear’

of God's power, righteous justice and

judgement, but a wholesome care and

concern of not offending or displeasing God.

A "reverential fear"

does not spring from being frightful or

paralyzed into inaction. Holy fear

motivates us to act correctly and live in

a righteous manner... knowing that God

holds us accountable for our motives,

thoughts, words and actions.

A reverential fear of God is a

deep, abiding holy fear. It is a

state of the mind and heart that

results in a respectful reverential

fear and awe of God.

A reverential fear of God is

breathless adoration, and

genuine wonder for the majesty

 and holiness of God.

God is perfect in power, love,

 and holiness.

To glorify God means to give God the

dignity, honor, respect, praise, and worship

due Him as the gracious gift He is to us.

Our response to God's greatness

should be...

Praise.
